Introduction
LetsTransport is India’s leading Series E-funded tech-logistics company, focused on transforming last-mile delivery with unmatched on-time efficiency. Catering exclusively to enterprises across sectors like organized retail, FMCG, e-commerce, distribution, and 3PL, the company has established itself as a trusted partner in urban logistics. By addressing the needs of India’s largely underserved trucker community, LetsTransport has emerged as a market leader in the enterprise logistics segment. Backed by cutting-edge technology and a clear vision, it is on a mission to redefine the $35 billion urban logistics landscape.
Problem Statement
LetsTransport was in search of a Chief Technology & Product Officer (CTPO) who could seamlessly integrate product vision with technical execution. The mandate was clear: identify a leader capable of owning both the product roadmap and the technology stack, while aligning with the company’s high-growth trajectory. The ideal candidate needed to be a strategic thinker with deep expertise in software development, scalable architecture, and real-time logistics platforms. Equally important was the ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive innovation, and build systems that could support operational efficiency and client-specific customization at scale.
Solution & Execution
Initially, LetsTransport focused on candidates who had served as Directors of Engineering in Series A–C startups. However, this approach, coupled with a constrained budget, limited their ability to attract talent with the depth required for a CTPO role. We stepped in to recalibrate the hiring strategy, advising them to stretch their budget and prioritize candidates with prior CTO or CTPO experience, capable of balancing both scale and innovation.
Leveraging our proprietary Behavioural Metrics Model (BMM), we identified Amit Dixit as the right fit. With a strong foundation in individual contributor roles such as Principal Product Architect and Principal Engineer at Infosys and Target, Amit had transitioned into a leadership role as CTO at Zolo, where he built SaaS products from the ground up. His BMM persona reflected a blend of Creator and Nurturer— ideal to drive 0-1x and 1-10x growth.
Looking Forward
With his appointment as CTPO, Amit is now set to lead a 20–30 member engineering and product team. His responsibilities include building scalable systems, refining the product roadmap, and fostering a high-performance engineering culture. As LetsTransport continues to expand its footprint, Amit will play a critical role in shaping the next phase of its tech evolution—laying the groundwork for long-term innovation, operational efficiency, and differentiated customer experiences.
