Problem Statement
In the supply chain ecosystem, one of the major challenges that shippers and freight brokers face is an outdated system that lacks up-to-date information on freight location and arrival time. Conventional communication systems like email, electronic data interchange (EDI), and fax lead to reactive decision-making and waste time and effort on outdated data.
As FourKites embarked on its growth journey in terms of revenue, team size, product enhancement, and market expansion, they sought a visionary CTO with experience in building real-time event-driven systems, complex microservices ecosystems, and multi-tenant enterprise SaaS products. The chosen leader needed to combine engineering excellence with the ability to lead high-performing engineering teams.
Solution & Execution
